Lysozyme Imprinted poly(hydroxyethyl methacrylate) Cryogel Membrane With the Assistance of polydopamine

The surface imprinted technique was utilized in creating the synthetic lysozyme receptors on poly(hydroxyethyl methacrylate) [p(HEMA)] cryogel membrane with assistance of polydopamine under alkaline conditions. Following design artificial receptors, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and swelling test were used for characterization studies adsorption capability adsorbent evaluated aqueous solution. maximum capacity (Qmax) found as 108.9 mg/g target protein monolayer showed a good fit to Langmuir isotherm model. IF factor 3.26 highly selective against creatinine bovine serum albumin (BSA). Furthermore, maintained its stability after 5 adsorption, desorption, regeneration cycles.
